OpenSea Studio released last week and it has prompted praise and backlash from various facets of the digital community. OpenSea Studio is a platform that enables any creator or business to create and deploy an NFT sale entirely from OpenSea without the need for any servers, developers, or additional resources.
Sounds Great!
But there is a catch: OpenSea takes 10% of primary and 2.5% of secondary sales in perpetuity. There is an argument to be made that this is a reasonable arrangement given the tools and reach of OpenSea. That being said, we felt it would be worthwhile to quickly highlight some other studios and players operating at a similar (or better) functional level for lower costs.
